are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful AC Cobra 302 MKIV., This AC Cobra left the factory in the UK new in 1989 for the USA and was shipped to Frontier Ford in Pawnee, Oklahoma for its first owner Mr Steve Goldman of Albany, California and was delivered by Passport Transport in October 1989. It was originally finished in BMW Cimmaron Red with Black leather interior with black carpets. The car had 2 US owners before returning to the UK in 2011, the last but one owner bought this AC from renowned Cobra and Mustang specialist Bill Shepherd Mustang (Byfleet, Surrey) at the GoodWood Revival making him the third owner and then our client bought the car from Redline Engineering in August 2021, In 2014/2015 Redline Engineering was entrusted with giving the vehicle a complete mechanical and cosmetic overhaul/restoration, starting with the body, the US reflectors were deleted from both the front and rear, the standard MKIV fuel filler cap was replaced with a recessed MKIII roller rocker fuel filler cap giving the car a more period look, the original BMW Cimmaron red paintwork was repainted in the stunning Jaguar Tungsten Grey, the MKIV interior was re-trimmed in black Nappa leather with black carpets and a cleaner looking MKIII dash conversion carried out. The 16″ wheels were then replaced with 15″ Halibrand wheels and stainless spinners giving the car a more MKIII feel along with Redline`s own handling kit which consisted of uprated anti-roll bars and dampers, Today the car boasts a fabulous specification with its factory fitted Ford 5.0 litre 302 V8 Injection engine with 5-speed Borg Warner manual gearbox, engine oil cooler, wind wings, outside mirror, full weather gear, tonneau cover, spare wheel with jack, 15″ Halibrand wheels, stainless spinners, chrome stone guards, smoked perspex sun visors, handling kit, glass wind wings, stainless sports exhaust tail pipes, bonnet scoop with polished rivets, stainless wiper blades, monza fuel filler roller rocker cap and AC aluminium foot pedals.
